MISHAWAKA - Richard P. Healy, 70, of
12191 Pennroad Drive, died at 9:01 a.m. Sunday in Elkhart General
Hospital. Mr. Healy retired as the owner/operator of Healy's
Septic Tank & Backhoe Service. He was born March 9, 1925, in
South Bend.
On June 15, 1947, in Michigan City, he
married Marian Heffner. She survives with two daughters,
Janet Mulholland of Chicago and Joanne Foster of
Mishawaka; three sons, William and Robert, both of South Bend,
and James of Denver; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;
three sisters, Gertrude Raymond of Mishawaka, Nancy Davis
of Oxnard, Calif., and Mary Hahn of Ojai, Calif.; and two
brothers, Lawrence of Sebring, Fla., and Edward of California. He
was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360 and First
English Lutheran Church, and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in
Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be in Chapel Hill
Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday in the funeral home.
