SOUTH BEND - Carrie K. ''Bobbie'' Heil, 81, of 52415 Helmen Road, died at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday in her home of natural causes. Mrs. Heil was born April 4, 1914, in Judith Gap, Mont.
On Nov. 25, 1942, in South Bend, as Carrie K. Webber, she married Raymond J. Heil. He died March 6, 1983. Surviving are three daughters, Sandra Kindig of Ocala, Fla., Linda Stevens of Valparaiso and Gretchen L. Smith of South Bend; two sons, Keith A. Heil of Granger and Kenneth P. Smith of South Bend; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A son, Keith Hanley, died in 1967. She was a founding member of Clay Township Fire Auxiliary.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
