Howard E. Heminger

SOUTH BEND - Howard E. Heminger, 77, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died at 7:01 p.m. Saturday in Highlands Regional Medical Center, Sebring, after an illness. Mr. Heminger was a former mechanic of weights and measures. He was born May 22, 1917, in South Bend and lived in South Bend until 1979, moving to Florida.

 

In South Bend, he married Millie M. Hoover. She survives with a daughter, Anita H. Kantenwein of Sebring; and four sisters, Rowenda Crump and Blanche Steinhoffer, both of South Bend, Doris Roberts of Elkhart, and Phyllis McGehe of Cassopolis. He was a member of American Modler's Association and United Brethren Church.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.

Heminger, 77, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of South Bend, who died at 7 p.m. Saturday in Highland Regional Medical Center, Sebring, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
