WALKERTON - Carolyn L. Henderson, 66, of Walkerton, IN,
passed way at 1:25 p.m. Saturday November 1, in Memorial
Hospital, South Bend, after an apparent heart attack. Mrs.
Henderson was born on November 2, 1941, in South Bend and resided
in the Michiana area her lifetime. On October 11, 1980 in
Walkerton, IN, as Carolyn L. Eaglebarger, she married John
A. Henderson who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Rae Ann
Alexander of Rolling Prairie, IN; and a son, Karl L.
(Regina) Alexander of LaPaz, IN; also 11 grandchildren and 22
great-grandchildren whom she loved and cherished. Also surviving
are five sisters, Viola (Ollie) Nichols of North Liberty,
Dorothy (John) Dunn of LaPaz, IN, Shirlene (Howard) Coffin
of Hamlet, IN, Connie J. Eaglebarger of Walkerton, IN, and Sally Winkleman
of Bremen, IN; five brothers, Charles (Joyce) Eaglebarger of
South Bend, Jerry Eaglebarger of Palto Alto, IL, Gene Eaglebarger
of Hammond, IN, Dennis (Betty) Eaglebarger of Walkerton, IN and
Raymond Eaglebarger of Westville, IN. Carolyn loved to fish,
needle craft and spending time with her loving grandchildren.
The family request in lieu of flowers, please make all memorial contributions to the family. Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 4, in Hanley & Sons Funeral Home "Walkerton Chapel", located at 1216 Roosevelt Road, Walkerton, IN. Burial will take place in Bourbon, IN, at a later date. Her wish was to be cremated which the family honored. The HANLEY & Sons Funeral Home "Walkerton Chapel" handled arrangements and services and extend its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Henderson family.
