Hazel M. Henderson

Nov. 6, 1905 - March 23, 2000

Hazel M. Henderson, 94, of the Countryside Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mishawaka, Ind., formerly of Berkley Circle, Mishawaka, passed away after an illness at 2:05 a.m. early Thursday morning, March 23, in Countryside Place.

Hazel was born on Nov. 6, 1905, in Nashville, Ind., as the daughter of the late Charles and Bernice (Pulin) McGee. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary Dorothy Coussens.

Hazel is survived by a daughter, Pauline Ferrettie of Mishawaka; a son, Forrest E. (Pat) Henderson of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren, John Ferrettie, Tom Ferrettie, Gloria Wentworth, Scott Henderson, Lynda Ward, Kim Windowski, Karen Warren, Nita Rems-Hahn and Frank Coussens, Jr.; and by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Ruth McGuire of South Bend.

Hazel was employed by the former Wheelabrator and retired in 1965.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today, March 24, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, in the funeral home, with Rev. Davy Troxel of Grace Brethren Church, Osceola, Ind., officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
