Helen Hensel

Helen Hensel, 87, of Delaware St., Mishawaka, Ind., died at 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, in St. Joseph Community Hospital. She was born in New Carlisle, Ind. on November 24, 1912 and had lived in this area all of her life. Helen retired from A-Quality after twenty-five years of service. She was a member of Bethel Tabernacle Church in Niles, Mich.

As Helen Luther she married Corydon C. Hensel on August 2, 1930 in New Carlisle. He died on March 21, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Clara (Sebring) Luther; a daughter, Aletha Wade; two sisters, Letha Edstrom and Ruth Wheatbrook; and by a brother, James Luther. Mrs. Hensel is survived by a daughter, Carol Ann Vena of Mishawaka; two sons, Larry Gordon Hensel, Sr. of Mishawaka and Dennis Allen Hensel of Niles, Mich.; and by nine grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
