Mrs. Vera Heston
Mrs. Vera T. Heston, 75, of 19864 Pasadena Ave. died
at 5:15 p.m.
Tuesday in Memorial Hospital after an illness of four weeks. She was born
Jan 22,
1898 in Mount Union, Iowa, coming to South Bend 32 years ago from
Ottumwa,
Iowa. As Vera Bice she was married in 1918 to Edward Heston, who
died in 1968.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Eloise Glentzer of South Bend; a son
Edward,
Jr., also of South Bend; seven grandchildren
; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Stremme, also of
South
Bend.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Forest

Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Funeral service will be conducted in
the
Johnson Funeral Home, Ottumwa, at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Shaul
Cemetery, Ottumwa.
