MISHAWAKA – After an illness of one week Mrs. James Hickey, 53, of 711 E. 7th Street died Tuesday evening in St. Joseph Hospital. She was born in Masses NY, from where she came yo Mishawaka 50 years ago.

 

As Bernice Truckowski she married Mr. Hickey in Mishawaka, Oct. 15, 1931. Surviving are her husband ; two sons Edward James Hickey and William Charles Hickey, both of Mishawaka; three daughters, Mrs. Stanley Gumkowski, Mrs. Clem Lyczynski, and Mrs. Arthur Homeleski, all of South Bend; one brother, Stanley Truho of Mishawaka and four sisters, Mrs. Henry Claeys and Mrs. George Henderson, both of Mishawaka, Mrs. Estell Keefe of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Malina Kominowski of South Bend.

 

Mrs. Hickey was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka Post 360 Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the River Park Democratic Club in South Bend. Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel after noon Thursday.

Last rites for Mrs. James Hickey, 53, of 711 E. 7th Street died Tuesday will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Very Rev. Curt A. Suetzer, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends mat call in the chapel until the funeral hour.
