MISHAWAKA - Catherine A. Hoffman, 86, residing in
Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 208
in Golden Living Nursing Center, Mishawaka. She was born
September 7, 1921 in South Bend, to Arba & Anna (Harrigan)
Warner, and has resided in the South Bend - Mishawaka area all of
her life.
On May 10, 1941 in Mishawaka, as Catherine Warner,
she was united in marriage to George Hoffman. He preceded her in
death on March 30, 1987. Her daughter, Nancy Kalil on June
30, 1985, and a son, Robert Hoffman on January 6, 1995, also
preceded her. Surviving Mrs. Hoffman are two sons, William J.
Hoffman and his wife Gerry of South Bend, and Paul G. Hoffman of
Venice, FL. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, and twelve
great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend special
thanks to the staff of Golden Living Nursing Center, Mishawaka
for their kindness and care offered to Mrs. Hoffman and her
family.
Cremation will take place at Southlawn
Cremation Services, and she will be laid to rest with her husband
George at Highland Cemetery. There will be no services. The
family has requested that memorial contributions be offered to
Southern Care Hospice, 310 West McKinley, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
