11, 1927 - April 8, 2010NEW CARLISLE - Corrine Hoffman, 82, passed away at 5:20 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2010, in Hamilton Grove Communities. Corrine was born on August 11, 1927, in Bertrand, MI, to the late Fred and Mildred (Hawke) Sperling. Corrine was also preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Hoffman; a brother, Fred "Sonny" Carl Sperling; and sisters, Anita "Teeta" Quimby and Joanna Romeo. Corrine is survived by her son, Doug (Susan) Hoffman of Stone Ridge, NY; granddaughter, Emma Hoffman; and many nieces and nephews. Corrine was a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2010, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A funeral liturgy will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
