SOUTH BEND - Services for Lola Bussert Hoffman, 89, of St. Paul's Retirement Community, who died at 2:07 a.m. Monday in St. Paul's Health Care Facility, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sand Hill Cemetery, Rochester. Friends may call one hour before services on Wednesday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Hoffman retired in 1971 from Mishawaka Utilities.

She was born Sept. 17, 1906, in Chicago. On Oct. 23, 1926, in South Bend, as Lola B. Callaway, she married Palmer Bussert. He died in 1945. In 1970, she married Cleve Hoffman. He died in 1974. She is survived by two daughters, Norma Lee Robins of Rochester and Marilyn L. Staldine of South Bend; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mishawaka.
