SOUTH BEND - Bruce E. Holbrook, 57, of South Bend, passed
away at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, November 2, in his residence after
suffering an apparent heart attack. Bruce was born on September
26, 1951, in Amboy, IL, and resided in the Michiana area his
lifetime. Mr. Holbrook is survived by his mother, Margaret M.
Holbrook of South Bend; a sister, Doris M. (Ray) Martens
of South Bend; and two brothers, Roger A. and Gregory L.
Holbrook, both of South Bend. Mr. Holbrook loved music and
watching pro-wrestling. Mr. Holbrook's request was to be cremated
and remembered during life.
There will be no visitation hours and a Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1526 Virginia Street, South Bend, Indiana. The family request that all memorial contributions be made to the family at 1526 Virginia St., South Bend, IN 46613. The HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel" funeral Home handled arrangements and extend its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Holbrook family.
