Charles L. Holcomb

Oct. 21, 1936 - Dec. 17, 1996

Charles L. Holcomb, 60, of Brink Ave., Osceola, Ind., passed away at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind., of natural causes.

He was born on Oct. 21, 1936, in Mishawaka, Ind., was a lifelong area resident, and was formerly employed by C. P. Products as a truck driver.

Charles was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the American Legion, Post 308, Osceola, and of the Fraternal Order of Police, Mishawaka.

Charles married Cindy Brumbaugh in South Bend, Ind., on Sept. 9, 1992. She survives along with a daughter, Amber Holcomb of Osceola; three sons, Scott and his wife Judy Suchovsky, Robert and his wife Kathy Suchovsky, both of Mishawaka, and Rick Burtzlaff of South Bend; five grandchildren, Kimberly, Deanna, Joshua, Erica, and Jordan Suchovsky, all of Mishawaka; and two brothers, Raymond Holcomb of Mishawaka and Larry Holcomb of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
