WALKERTON - Helen Marie Holland, 86, passed away Monday, May 26, 2008, in Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, IN. Mrs. Holland was born April 24, 1922, in St. Joseph County, IN, to John and Myrtle (Cranford) Martin, and had lived in the area all of her life.

On November 20, 1941, at St. Patrick's Church in Walkerton, she was married to Devon Holland, who preceded her in death on November 8, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Danny and William Holland; four brothers, Jim, Ed, Walt and Pat Martin; a sister, Mary Stanley; and four grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Judy (Pete) Lember of Bourbon and Pat (Dan) Kaemmerer of Milwaukee, WI; four sons, Bob (Kitty) Holland of Walkerton, Dennis (Linda) Holland of Walkerton, Paul Holland of Koontz Lake and Joe (Barb) Holland of South Bend; 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Holland was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick's Church of Walkerton. She was a volunteer for many activities at St. Patrick's Church and St. Patrick's School. She also volunteered at Miller's Merry Manor in Walkerton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 a.m. (Eastern time) at St. Patrick's Church of Walkerton. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. (Eastern time) and Friday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel, where a Rosary Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 801 Tyler St., Walkerton, IN 46574.
