Sister M. Ursulita Holland CSC, 91, of Saint Mary’s Convent, died at 11:07 p.m. Wednesday in the convent. She was born Nov. 2, 1900 as Ursula Holland in Nantucket, Mass.  She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on Sept. 14, 1918; was received as a novice on Aug. 15, 1919; and professed her final vows on Aug. 15, 1921. She was assigned as a music teacher and taught in school in Washington DC, Baltimore, Md., Woodland, Calif.; Ripon, Wis.; the University of Notre Dame; St. Joseph Academy, South Bend; Sacred Heart Academy, Fort Wayne; Crawfordsville, Ind.; Plymouth; Michigan City; and in Illinois at Danville, Peoria and Morris.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, with burial following in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, both at St. Mary’s. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday in the convent parlors, where a wake will be 7 p.m.
