Betty lived a full and accomplished life.  She enjoyed travel with Carl.  Among their travels were trips to Germany, Montana, Florida and Branson, MO.  She and Carl took up R.V. camping upon her retirement from her secretarial position at Wheelabrator-Frye, Inc. in 1984.  Over the years, she learned to paint in oils, produced several lovely pieces in counted cross-stitch and took classes in ballroom dancing and interior decorating.  She enjoyed solving the daily crossword puzzles in the newspaper.  She and Carl were enthusiastic card players, participating for many years in a Euchre club with close friends and relatives.  Her Scrabble skills were legendary.
