Mary Honold

Mishawaka – Mrs. Mary Honold, 78, of 314 W. 8th Street, who moved here in 4:10 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend, following an illness of several years. She was born in Baden, Germany, and as Mary Barth was married to Edward Honold Sr. on Nov. 23, 1904, in St. Joseph Catholic Church. He died on Oct. 16, 1958. She is survived by three sons, Martin and Carl Honold, both of Mishawaka, and Frederick Honold of South Bend; and two daughters. Mrs. Eugen Doll of Mishawaka and Mrs. Ray Yoder of Niles. Another daughter, Mrs. Henrietta Doll died in 1952, and a fourth son Edward Honold Jr. died in 1958. Friend may call at the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. She was a member of St. Joseph Church

 

South Bend Tribune 3/18/1963

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Honold, 78, of 314 W. 8th Street, who died Saturday in St. Joseph Hospital, will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Tr. Rev. Msgr. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home.

 

Pallbearers will be Godfrey Futter, Leo Futter, Joseph Futter, Alfred Trippel, Alex Baldoni and Angelo Pastorino. As Mary Barth, Mrs. Honold was married to Edward Honold Sr., Nov. 23, 1904 in St. Joseph Church. He died in 1958.
