Pauline Honold

Mishawaka - Mrs. Martin Honold, aged 79, died at 11 o’clock Monday night in the home of her son, Edward H. Honold, 314 West Eighth Street, with whom she lived. She had been ill three months.

 

Mrs. Honold was born Sept. 17, 1857 in Altenburg, Saxony, Germany. At the age of 11 years she came to this country from Germany. As Pauline Wiedmeyer she married 63 years ago to Martin Honold, who died in 1921.

 

Surviving besides her son, Edward, are another son, Lawrence Honold of SouthBend; a daughter, Mrs John Hart of Chicago, and a stepson, Jacob Honold, of Chicago. Mrs. Honold was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. The body may be viewed Wednesday in the residence.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9 o’clock Thursday morning in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church for Mrs. Martin Honold, aged 79, of 314 West Eighth Street. Rev George J. Lauer, pastor, will read the requiem mass and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
