Mary Hoose

MISHAWAKA – A resident of Mishawaka 84 years Mrs. Mary Hoose, 88, of 420 W. Broadway, died at, 10:L40 p.m. Tuesday in the Jeffery Nursing Home in South Bend. She had been in ill health for the past two years. Mrs. Hoose was born in Bellevue, Ohio.

 

As Mary Heidt she married William C. Hoose in this city, Jan. 17, 1894. He died in 1925. Surviving are four sons, Francis W. of South Bend, Clarence F. and Howard H. bothishawaka and Herman J. of Charlotte, N. C.; two daughters, Mrs. Ross Cleghorn of South Bend and Mrs. Frank C. Muir of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Anthony Heidt of Mishawaka, and a sister Mrs. Catherine Fredericks of Long Beach, Calif.

 

Mrs. Hoose was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church and the Rosary Society of the church. Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel after 7 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Monica’s Catholic Church with the pastor, Rev. Leo A. Hoffman, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral chapel.
