Mrs. Mathilda Horvath, 75, of 2214 Kendell St., died of a heart ailment at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 14, 1887, in Hungary and came to South Bend 55 years ago. She was married to Nicholas Horvath, who died on March 9, 1952. Mrs. Horvath is survived by a son, Florian, of South Bend; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Fancil and Mrs. Harold Jennings, both of South Bend, and Mrs. Frank Deka, Jr., of Allen Park, Mich.; five grandchildren; five brothers, Frank Kuzmic, of California and Thomas, Mattew, Victor and Jacob Kuzmic, all of South Bend; and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Miholick of South Bend, and Mrs. Anna Mezzei of Mishawaka.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Zahoran Funeral Home, where members of the St. Anthony Society will recite the rosary at 7:30 p.m. today.
