SOUTH BEND - Michael J. Horvath, 90, of Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Kemble Avenue, died at 10:22 a.m. Sunday in the nursing center. Mr. Horvath was former owner of Mike's Standard Service Station and former employee of Standard Oil Co., Granger, and Briteway Store. He was born Aug. 12, 1905, in South Bend.

On June 20, 1931, in South Bend, he married Mary G. Matay. She died in 1985. He is survived by a son, Arthur L. of Mishawaka; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Steve and Alex, both of South Bend. He was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
