WALKERTON - Services for Evelyn G. Hostetler, 75, of 4752 S. County Road 1000 East, who died at 2 a.m. Saturday in her home, will be at 11 a.m. (LaPorte time) Wednesday in Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte. Friends may call from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until services Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hostetler retired from Wells Aluminum, North Judson, after 13 years of service as a machine operator. She was born Dec. 5, 1918, in Pleasant Township, LaPorte County, and was a lifelong area resident.

On March 8, 1938, in Mill Creek, as Evelyn G. Lehker, she married John Hostetler. He survives with two daughters, Marge Skwiat of Michigan City and Loretta Miller of Abilene, Texas; two sons, Andrew of Walkerton and William of Walkerton; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Missionary Society of the church, United Auto Workers Local 194 and Lincoln Township Farm Bureau.
