Linda L. Hostetler

Linda L. Hostetler, 62, of Menomonie, Wis., formerly of South Bend, died Saturday, October 8, 2005, in the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.

 

Linda was born July 25, 1943, in South Bend. She was the daughter of Roy and Georgette (McLean) Hostetler. Linda attended Lakeville schools graduating from Nurse's Aide training and cooking school. She was employed by Osteopathic Hospital in South Bend, and more recently by ConAgra-Swiss Miss in Menomonie. Linda was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Menomonie. Linda was an accomplished baker and candy maker, specializing in Dutch apple pie, M&M cookies, caramels and caramel corn.

 

Linda is survived by three brothers, Lawrence (Kathleen) Hostetler of Mishawaka, Ind., and Daniel (Susan) Hostetler and James (Sharon) Jorgensen, both of Cameron, Wis.; a sister, Rebecca Hostetler (Julie Redpath) of Pine City, Minn.; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Hostetler of Corydon, Ill., as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Suzanne Crain; and a brother, Ronald Hostetler.

 

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2005 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Menomonie, with Rev. Thomas Krieg officiating. Burial will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Cameron. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Rhiel Funeral Home in Menomonie, Wis., with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. Monday night. Friends may also call one hour prior to services in the church on Tuesday.
