PLYMOUTH - Rose Hrutkay, 88, of Berkley Street, Plymouth, Ind., formerly of Kenilworth Road, South Bend, Ind., died Monday, June 4, after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 15, 1912, in Saginaw, Mich.

Rose was married to Joseph B. Hrutkay on May 28, 1930, in Detroit, Mich. She is survived by her son, Paul J. Hrutkay, and wife, Elizabeth of Plymouth; three granddaughters, Linda Fitzpatrick, Margaret Spradlin and Sharon Murphy; and by eight great- grandchildren. Rose was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Harvest House and the Polish Women's Alliance.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday morning in Christ the King Catholic Church, with the service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marshall County or to the Christ the King School Building Fund. The Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, 219/289-1000, South Bend, is in charge of arrangements.
