SOUTH BEND - Margaret J. Hudson, 78, of West Indiana Avenue, died at 6 a.m. Sunday in her home of natural causes. Mrs. Hudson was employed by the former H. D. Lee. She was born June 24, 1916, in South Bend.

On Feb. 22, 1947, in Washington, D.C., as Margaret J. Merencsics, she married Robert Hudson, who survives. Also surviving are a son, James of South Bend; four sisters, Mary Merencsics, Anna Merencsics, Grace Lashmit and Elizabeth Grzadziela, all of South Bend; and a brother, Steve Merencsics of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Zahoran Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
