Robert E. Huff, 61, of Wren Lane,
South Bend, Ind., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001.
He was born on July 21, 1940, in South Bend,
to Russell Huff and the former Marie Helsinger, both
preceding him in death. He was also preceded in death by four
brothers, Jack Huff, Melvin Huff, Richard Huff and Russell Huff
Jr.; and five sisters, Beverly Dodd, Carol Huff, Virginia
McDaniel, Shirley Horn and Dorothy Ullery.
On Aug. 29, 1959, in South Bend, he married
Fran Lukasiak, who survives. He is also survived by two
daughters, Deborah (John) McCallister and Judy Harper,
all of South Bend; five grandchildren, Aaron Stokes, Corey
Stokes, Sarah Stokes, Samantha Harper and Danielle Harper; two
sisters, Dixie Binney of Evansville, Ind., Donna Zeigert
of New Carlisle, Ind.; and by a brother, Hubert Staton of Lena,
Ill. Mr. Huff was employed with South Bend Supply until the time
of his death.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and
6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 2, in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827
East Ireland Road, South Bend. Funeral services will be at 10
a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in the funeral home. Burial will be at
Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
