Charles A. Hull

Charles A. (Red) Hull, 55, of 229 Wildemere Dr., died at 9 a.m. today in the Golden Age Nursing Home, Mishawaka, where he had been a patient three weeks. He had been ill one year.

 

Born in Mishawaka on Jan. 23, 1914, he had lived in South Bend and Mishawaka all his life. He married Ruth Dellinger in Benton Harbor, Mich., on Sept. 8, 1950. She survives. He was the representative for District 50 of the United Mine Workers of America.

 

Other survivors are three sons, Theodore of St. Louis, Mo., Edward of Michigan City, Ind., and Jon of Hudson Lake, New Carlisle; a brother, Donald F. Hull of Mishawaka; a sister, Mrs. Homer Jarrett of Pocahontas, Ark., and three grandchildren.

 

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka.

 

Editor: He was previously married on Mar. 13, 1945 to Betty Jane Rakestraw. His second wife Ruth Hull died in Mishawaka on Jan. 7, 1973.
