Clarance L. Hunsberger, 68, of West Colfax Avenue, Mishawaka, Ind., died after a lengthy illness at 10:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16th, in his residence.

He was born in Mishawaka on Oct. 9, 1934, to Delbert and Vera (Barry) Hunsberger.

Clarance retired from the Mishawaka Post Office as a letter carrier after 24 years of service. He was a member of Mishawaka F.O.P #91.

Clarance was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Rebecca Butz in 1989, and by a son, Douglas Hunsberger in 1990.

Clarance married the former JoAnn Lawson in South Bend on July 24, 1965. She survives. He is also survived by a son, Robert (Kristine) Hunsberger of Hell, Mich.; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; his sister, Delores Renner of Mishawaka; and by his mother-in-law, Geraldine Lawson of Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20th, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., where funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., with Rev. Sheldon Grame officiating.

Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date.
