MISHAWAKA - Omar D. Hunsberger, 75, of Countryside Place, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka. Mr. Hunsberger retired in 1978 from Mishawaka Farmers Dairy after 30 years. He was born March 24, 1920, in Mishawaka. On Feb. 1, 1941, in Crawfordsville, Ind., he married Virginia Bariger. She died Dec. 5, 1988. Surviving are two brothers, Donald of Wyatt and James of Mishawaka; and several nieces and nephews. He was an Army World War II veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
