Sean C. Hurcomb, 23, of 33rd Street,
South Bend, died at 4:48 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 1997.
He was born July 25, 1973, in Mishawaka,
living in the area all of his life. Sean is survived by his
parents, Charles F. and Catherine Hurcomb Jr. of South Bend, his
brother, Corey Hurcomb of South Bend, and his parental
grandparents, Charles F. and Florence Hurcomb Sr. of Wyatt,
Indiana.
Sean was an apprentice electrician with
Scanlon Electric Co., South Bend. He was a member of
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and a graduate of
St. Joseph High School in 1992. He attended Holy Cross Junior
College.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Monday,
March 3, in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood,
South Bend, where friends may be received prior and following the
service time. Revs. Duane and Christena Hoffman, pastors of Zion
United Church of Christ, Wakarusa, Ind., will officiate.
Cremation will take place with burial of the cremains in
Resthaven Cemetery in Madison Township. Memorial contributions
may be made to Zion United Church of Christ, 12298 New Road,
Wakarusa, Ind. 46573.
