SOUTH BEND - Richard A. Huster Jr., 59, of South Bend, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008, in his residence. Mr. Huster was born March 1, 1949, in South Bend, to the late Richard A. and Helen A. Dick proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the early 70s. He was employed by Fanning-Howey and Associates, Michigan City, IN, as a mechanical draftsman and his skills and attention to detail were integral in the design of hundreds of school projects. He was a phenomenal photographer and woodworker. He was very proud of the pictures he took and developed, and could make anything out of wood such as toys and furniture. He was also an avid bicyclist and had many routes of 20 miles or more. Most important of all to him were his family, which included his late mother, and sisters and their families. He loved them dearly. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
