MISHAWAKA - Kathryn Eileen Hysell,
72, of Currant Road, died at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph
Hospital. Mrs. Hysell was born Sept. 18, 1922, in South Bend, and
was a lifelong area resident.
On Jan. 3, 1943, in South Bend, as Kathryn
E. Gard, she married Daniel Hysell. He survives with a
daughter, Lisa Hysell of Mishawaka; a son, Daniel L. of Osceola;
two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Geraldine Tsakoniatis
of South Bend; and a brother, Jack Gard of New Port Richey, Fla.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Forest
G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Burial will be in
Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m.
Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made
to American Lung Association.
