Alice M. Isza (Jan. 15, 1915 - Sept. 26, 2002)

Alice M. Isza, 87, of South Bend, Ind., passed away peacefully in Holy Cross Health Care in South Bend.

Mrs. Isza was born on Jan. 26, 1915, in Gary, Ind. She was the daughter of Andrew and Margaret (Szigeti) Jambor, who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Isza was also preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Molnar. On Oct. 14, 1939, in the former Hungarian Presbyterian Church, Alice married John D. Isza, who died May 21, 2001.

Mrs. Isza retired as bookkeeper for the treasurer and auditor's office of St. Joseph County.

She is survived by a brother, Andrew N. Jambor (Jackie) of South Bend; and a sister, Lillian M. Moore (Leslie) of Cassopolis, Mich.; nieces and nephews, Kathy Whitmer of South Bend, M.E. Fisher (Larry) of Greenfield, Ind., John Andrew Jambor (Aimee) of Merrifield, Minn., Cindy Schreiner (Rae) of South Bend, Albert J. Hirschler (Kathy) of Houston, Texas, Fred A. Hirschler (Susan) of Dallas, Texas, Paul Andrew Hirschler (Liz) of Bryan, Texas; a special niece, Cindy Schreiner, and caregiver, Lois Dykema; three sisters-in-law, Betty Isza, Blanche Isza and Pat Isza, all of South Bend; and one brother-in-law, Tony Molnar of South Bend.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will be taking place.
