Marion Jakubowski

Marion Jakubowski, 79, of W. Fisher St., South Bend, Ind., died at 4:30 p.m., Friday at 4600 W. Washington St. South Bend. He was born May 27, 1921 in Poland and lived in this area since 1950. Mr. Jakubowski retired in 1985 from the A.M. General Corporation, after 19 years of service.

 

On April 18, 1953, he married Stephanie Dyjach, who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Chet (Brenda) Jakubowski of Mishawaka, Ind., and Joseph (Stephanie) Jakubowski of South Bend; and by a grandson Raymond Rupp. He was preceded in death by a son Edward who died in 1982, and by his parents Joseph and Mary (Poczaszek) Jakubowski. Mr. Jakubowski was a member of the St. Casimir Catholic Church.

 

Family and friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, with burial to follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
