Brother Roger Jamison CSC, 76, died at 10:05 Monday in Dujarie House, University of Notre Dame. He was born Aug. 21, 1909 in Williamsport, Pa.. He made his first vows as a Holy Cross Brother on July 2, 1927. After receiving his bachelor of arts degree from Notre Dame in 1931, he taught at Holy Trinity High School, Chicago; Holy Cross High School, New Orleans; and Cathedral High School, Indianapolis. Until 1938 he was on the staff of the Ave Maria Press and was house accountant for Holy Cross Seminary, both at Notre Dame. From 1938 until his death, he was office manager for the Notre Dame maintenance department. He is survived by a cousin, A. Pat Kelly of Montoursville, Pa., and an aunt, Elizabeth George of Williamsport.

 

Friends may call from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Columba Hall on the Notre Dame campus. A wake service is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Chapel of the Holy Cross Brothers Center, Notre Dame. Services will be at 3 p.m. in the Chapel and internment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at the Center.
