SOUTH BEND - Edna Mae Jarvis, 80, passed away May 20, 2008, in the Healthwin Specialized Care Facility. Born November 29, 1927, in Sprague, WA, she was the daughter of the late William and Dora Butterfield.

She was married to George Jarvis, who preceded her in death along with two sons, Billy and Marcus Jarvis. Surviving are three sons, George G. (Sandy) Jarvis, Sandy T. (Cathy) Jarvis and Randy (Carrie) Jarvis; a daughter, Joann (Dennis) Law; and 14 grandchildren. Edna had many hobbies and interests including a variety of card games such as cribbage, euchre and rummy. She also loved cats, fishing, Elvis and sports. However, her favorite team was the Washington Huskies.

A memorial service will be held June 6th at 5 p.m. in the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, SR 23 at Cherry Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
