SOUTH BEND - Jerry L. Jarvis, 55, passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, in Memorial Hospital. Jerry was born on June 13, 1952, in South Bend, to the late Elzie and Anna (Fennell) Jarvis. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Cox. Survivors include his daughter, Karin (Alan Dydo) Jarvis of Mishawaka; a son, Christopher Jarvis of South Bend; and a sister, Lois (Harold) Messenger of Elkland, MO. Jerry was employed by A.M. General before retiring and had been in the Air Force National Guard.

Visitation will be from noon to 2:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
