Esther J. Jasicki

Esther J. Jasicki, 83, of Arrowhead Drive, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, May 12, in Regency Place of South Bend. She was born on June 18, 1915, in South Bend, to John and Pearl (Chrzan) Kaminski, and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Jasicki retired from Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, and was previously employed by Notre Dame-Loban Institute.

 

On June 1, 1935, as Esther J. Kaminski, she married Joseph F. Jasicki, who preceded her in death on March 25, 1963. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Harriet Packer; and by four brothers, Frank, Alex, Ted and Leo Kaminski. Mrs. Kaminski is survived by her son, David J. of South Bend; a niece, Joan Reback-Costa of South Bend; a nephew, Vic Reback of Orange, Calif.; and by several great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jasicki was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and the Ladies of the Moose.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with Rev. Camillo Tirabassi officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a parish Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to: Corpus Christi School Building Fund, 2822 Corpus Christi Drive, South Bend, IN 46628.
