Robert G. Jaworski

June 27, 1952 – April 19, 2011

 

Vinemont, Al – Robert G. Jaworski, 58, passed away at 11:15am on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in his residence.

 

Robert was born on June 27, 1952 in South Bend to Leonard and Joan (Markowski) Jaworski. He was preceded in death by his father Leonard. He is survived by his dear friend, Melinda Powell; his mother, Joan Jaworski of South Bend; son, Christopher (Mellisa) Jaworski of Redwood City, CA; grandchildren, Kylee, McKenna and Ethan Jaworski all of Redwood City, CA; sister, Judy (Errett) Hicks of South Bend; brothers, Ron (Lori) Jaworski of Osceola and James (Angela) Jaworski of Zanesville, IN; and by his nieces and nephews, Jenny Collins of Fischers, IN, JoAnne Jaworski of Ft. Collins, CO, Kate, Alice, and Sam Jaworski all of Osceola, IN.

 

He went to Holy Cross and Central High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Army 101st Airborne being stationed in Manheim Germany and Ft. Campbell, KY. Bob was the owner of It’s a Name Thing and worked at Acco. He enjoyed fishing, and cars. He also loved spending time with his family. He lived at Lake of the Woods for 15 years, and is a past member of Local 5 UAW and American Legion 357.

 

There was no greater honor than to have Bob call you a friend. Visitation will be from 9:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, April 23, 2011 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:00am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
