SOUTH BEND - George E. Jena, 60, of Meadow Crest Drive, died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Jena was the former owner of Bagby Photo. He was born Nov. 19, 1934, in South Bend.

On Nov. 26, 1955, in South Bend, he married Carolyn A. Diedrick. She survives with a daughter, Brenda J. Frick of South Bend; three sons, David, Scott and Bruce, all of South Bend; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Van Arsdol of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Carol Bock of Elmore, Ohio; and two brothers, John of Greenfield, Ind., and Max of South Bend. He was president of the administration board of Northwest United Methodist Church, member of Professional Photographers of America, Michiana Jaunters Club and Legion of Honor Order of Demolay, and was a veteran of the Army.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Northwest United Methodist Church. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
