Mrs. Louise Jepson: (Michigan City News Dispatch 4/24/1959)

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Louise Jepson, 56, Santa Monica, Calif. She died unexpectedly yesterday of a heart attack. Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning in a Catholic church in Santa Monica. Mrs. Jepson was born at Rolling Prairie May 30, 1902, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Layman. She had lived in Santa Monica 35 years and was married to Neil Jepson, who survives. Also surviving are three sisters – Mrs. Cecelia Urban, 1502 Kentucky St.; Mrs. Verna Barts, South Bend, and Mrs. Agnes Trowbridge, Buchanan, Mich., and a twin brother, Louis Layman, 702 Oak St.

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Jepson, 56, Santa Monica, Calif., a former resident of this community who died Thursday, were conducted at Santa Monica this morning. Area relatives who flew to California to attend the service are Louis Layman, 1702 Oak St., a twin brother; Jerome Kucharski, 2114 Buffalo St., a nephew; Mrs, Verna Barts and Mrs. Agnes Trowbridge, Buchanan, Mich., sisters, and Mrs. Betty Sobieski, LaPorte, a niece. Another sister, Mrs. Celia Urban, 1502 Kentucky St., was unable to attend because of illness.
