Matt Jeziorski

January 13, 1898June 12, 1980

 

Matt Jeziorski, 82, of 433 S Liberty, died at 10:40pm Thursday in St Joseph’s Hospital after a brief illness.  He was retired in 1963 from the Studebaker Corp. after 43 years of employment.

 

Born on January 13, 1898, in South Bend, he lived here all his life.  On June 28, 1920, in South Bend, he married Victoria Klosowski, who survives.  Also surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Ludvina Pietreszewski, Mrs. Theresa Bogunia and Mrs. Claire Noyer, all of South Bend, Mrs. Eleanor DeMeyer of LaPorte, and Mrs. Mary Ann Beyer of Granger; two sons, Raymond of Mishawaka and John of South Bend; 43 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 24 great great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs.Yolanda Glon of South Bend and Ms Angela Jeziorski of Crown Point IN.

 

Services will be at 10am Monday in St Adalbert’s Catholic Church.  Rev. Eugene J. Kazmierczak, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.

 

Friends may call from 6 to 9pm Saturday and noon to 9pm Sunday in the St Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30pm Saturday.  He was a member of ST Adalbert’s Parish, the Holy Name Society, the West Side Democratic Club and UAW Local 5.

Services for Matt Jeziorski, 83, of 433 S Liberty, who died at 10:40pm Thursday in St Joseph’s Hospital after a brief illness, will be at 10am Monday in St Adalbert’s Catholic Church.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call from 6 to9pm today and from noon to 9pm Sunday in the St Joseph Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held at 7:30pm today in the funeral home.
