SOUTH BEND - Florence R. Jozwiak, 97, of the Sanctuary at
the Saint Joseph Care Center in South Bend, Indiana, passed away
Thursday, September, 4, 2008, in the nursing home. Florence was
born August 23, 1911, in South Bend, Indiana, to Camiel and
Malanie (Coddens) Colpaert. She was a homemaker. On
June 2, 1934, in South Bend, Florence married Benedict M.
Jozwiak, who preceded her in death on April 17, 1981. Surviving
are a daughter, Kathleen (Nick) Cenova; sons, Donald
(Toni) Jozwiak and Joseph (Nanci) Jozwiak, all of South Bend,
Indiana; grandchildren, Paula (Louie) Martinez of South
Bend, Stephen (Joann) Cenova of Wyandotte, Michigan, Judy Cenova
of Indianapolis, Indiana, Amy Cenova of South Bend, Indiana,
Kimberly (Eric) Depke of St. Louis, Missouri, Sarah
Jozwiak of South Bend, Indiana; step-grandchildren, Danielle
(Darrel) Davis of Illinois, Michelle (Mark) Horn of
South Bend, Indiana; and six great-grandchildren, Lucas, Savanna,
Olivia, J.T., Rachel and Jackson.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 PM
Monday, September 8, 2008, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N.
Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana, where a combined parish and
married men's Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 PM. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday, September
9, 2008, in St. Casimir Catholic Church, with burial to follow at
Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana. Florence was a
member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and the St. Casimir and
Holy Cross Senior Clubs. The family would like to express their
sincere gratitude to the staff at The Sanctuary at St. Joseph for
the excellent care and service to our mom. Memorial contributions
