Mrs. Marie Jurgonski: (South Bend Tribune 11/27/1964)

Mrs. Marie E. Jurgonski, 58, of 25113 State Rd. 2, died at 1:50 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph’s Hospital after an illness of seven months. Born on April 4, 1906, in South Bend, she was married to Valentine Jurgonski on Feb. 16, 1926, in Terre Coupe. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Leonard of South Bend and Eugene of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Keener of South Bend; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Sylvester, Lucian, and Chester Krawczyk, all of South Bend, and four sisters, Mrs. Verna Dorn and Mrs. Loretta Jozwiak, both of South Bend, Mrs. Helen Pawlikowski of Madison Heights, Mich., and Mrs. Francis Kaminski of New Carlisle. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday at the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Rev. Richard J. Kennedy, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and at 8 p.m. Sunday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home.
