Rose Ann Jurgonski, 82, of Huron Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002. Rose was born July 19, 1920, in South Bend, to the late Frank and Bertha (Jablonski) Ferger. She married Frank Jurgonski on Feb. 9, 1952. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Benjamin, Edward, Ervin and Casimir Ferger. She is survived by a sister, Esther Olejniczak of South Bend; daughter, Kathy (Russell) Olmstead of South Bend; and by grandchildren, Russell Olmstead Jr. of Mishawaka, Ind., and Ryan Olmstead of South Bend. Rose attended St. Stanislaus B&M Catholic Church at 415 N. Brookfield Street in South Bend, and retired from RACO Industries in 1984 after 44 years of service as a press operator. Family and friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 8th, in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Services will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 9th, in St. Stanislaus B&M Catholic Church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
