William J. Kaczmarczyk

June 24, 1949January 26, 1999

 

William J. “Bill” Kaczmarczyk, 49, of Fort Wayne, formerly of South bend, died Tuesday, January 26 of an extended illness.

 

Bill was born in South Bend on June 24, 1949.  He was a 1967 graduate of St Joseph High School, South Bend and a 1969 graduate of the Untied Electronics Institute in Louisville KY

 

Bill was employed at Magnavox of Fort Wayne from 1969 to 1972.  He worked for Bendix in Bermuda from 1972-1973.  Bill had been employed by the United Telephone Company of Indiana in Decatur as a technician for the last 26 years until his death.

 

On July 25, 1970, in Fort Wayne, Bill married the former Nancy K. Yeiter, who survives.

 

He is also survived by two daughters, Tirzah & Rayna Kaczmarczyk, all of Fort Wayne.  Bill is also survived by his mother, Rose Kaczmarczyk of South Bend; five sisters, Rose Sayer of Kansas City MO, and Evelyn “Inky” Smead, Miriam “Mimi” Manley, Anne Nowak and Lori Nowak, all of South Bend; and by a brother, Casimer “Duke” Kaczmarczyk of Plano TX.

 

Bill was preceded in death by his brother Thomas on April 9, 1972; and by his father, Casimer “Casey” Kaczmarczyk on November 11, 1996.

 

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm today in the Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Home, Fort Wayne.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 10am on Friday in St John Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.  Memorial services will be conducted in South Bend at a later date.
