SOUTH BEND - John Kalinowski, 78, passed away at 2:50 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 30 in his residence. John was born on January 11,
1929, in South Bend to the late John and Irene (Nowak)
Kalinowski. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ray,
Gene and Vic. He is survived by his four children, Kelli Zach
of South Bend, Kathi Kalinowski of Granger, John Kalinowski Jr.
of South Bend and Glen Miller of South Bend; 17
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donna and
Irene; and two brothers, Don Kalinowski of South Bend and Al
Trent of Ft. Myers, FL. John served in the United States Marines
and in the United States Navy. He was a pipefitter for GM. He
enjoyed boating and watching his grandchildren.
There will be no services. ST. JOSEPH
FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend is assisting the
family.
