Joseph J. Kapalczynski

March 1, 1892 - February 3, 1973

Joseph J. Kapalczynski, 80, of 55160 Sundown Rd., died at 12:25pm Saturday in St Joseph's Hospital after a two month illness.  He had been employed at the former Singer Mfg Co., for 29 years.

He was born March 1, 1892, in South Bend, where he was a lifetime resident.  He married Louise S. Mrozek on February 25, 1950.  She survives with a son, Ralph, of St Joseph MI; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Wcisel and Mrs. Henrietta Kocy, both of South Bend.

Friends may call between 7 and 9pm Monday and 2 to 9pm Tuesday at the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home.  A funeral mass will be said at 10am Wednesday at St Stanislaus Catholic Church with Rev. Casimir F. Grabarz, CSC, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  He was a veteran of WW I and a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 6.
