SOUTH BEND -- Edward R. Kasper, 78, of Hawthorne Drive, died Tuesday in his home. Survivors include his wife, Noreen; four daughters, Patty Nyikos of Noblesville, Ind., Sharon Bergren of Portage, Mich., Marian Miller of Piedmont, Okla, and Kate Coleman of South Bend; three sons, Dan, Mike and Ed, all of South Bend; two sisters, Marge Pearson of Hammond and Rita Kasper of Whiting, Ind.; and two brothers, Joe of Chicago and Gene of Whiting.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive.
