Miss Clara Knoblock

December 15, 1871July 5, 1966

 

Miss Clara Evelyn Knoblock, 94, died Tuesday in the River Park Nursing Home after an illness of 18 months.  She had been employed at Wyman’s Department Store for more than 40 years.

 

Born on December 15, 1871, in South Bend, she had lived here her lifetime.  She is survived by four nieces, Mrs. Paul Winkelmann, 102 N. Hawthorne Dr., with whom she had resided for several years, Mrs. Margaret Daugherty of Bemidji MN, Mrs. Helen Basker of Detroit, and Mrs. Hazel LaMoure of Hollywood CA and a nephew, Harold Knoblock, of North Hollywood CA.

 

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Thursday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home.  Services will be held at 3pm Friday in Epworth Memorial Methodist Church.  Rev. Edward Vaught, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in City Cemetery.  She was a member of the church and the W.S.C.S.
